Great Wifi Receiver

Purchased this TV for our master bathroom following the remodel. Wanted a small, smart TV that could be wall-mounted so that we could watch Netflix and Amazon Prime without having to have an aerial or pay for another cable box. My wife likes to watch TV while doing her hair and makeup. Our wifi router is on one end of the house and the master bath is on the other end (2550 sq. ft. house) so I was a bit concerned that streaming TV programs might be a problem. To my surprise, this LG linked up to our wifi system and, even with a rather weak signal (only two bars), we can watch the shows without any buffering. Bought a 75x75 Vesa wall mount and this TV was easy to mount and looks great. Just the right size for watching TV while getting ready for the day or lounging in our new jetted tub. Picture is sharp and sound is good without having to use an auxiliary speaker. Recommend this TV without hesitation.

Poor Sound Quality Without Bluetooth Speaker Capability

Purchased this principally to be used as a monitor for my home office and, secondarily, as a television. So far as a monitor it serves its basic purpose, but the picture quality is only so-so. My 10 year old monitor works much better. However, as a 2020 "Smart" TV, I assumed I'd be able to link my blue tooth speakers...never assume! The television sounds is very poor. I'm sitting right up next to the television and cannot hear it. My cheapo laptop produces better sound. Unless you live in a place with virtually no noise anywhere. I'd look elsewhere for a different television. The one thing that does work well is the apps menu to watch Netflix, Prime, etc. I would skip this product and keep looking.

I haven’t seen a review like this, I figured I’d write one. Fits perfectly in the sleeper of my truck on the wall mount. Picture quality is decent, easy to set up, and connects to WiFi very well. The sound quality is pretty bad, when watching a movie even in the small space I’m in the volume had to be at 100% for me to hear dialogue. Overall a good product

Picture quality and sound are excellent. I almost did not buy this TV because of negative reviews regarding the volume of sound level but am glad I purchased. Very difficult to program and use. I use this in our RV and it is a pain to.program and it won't hold a WIFI signal well. The biggest problem is the volume or should I say lack thereof. Have it on Max at 100 and you can barely hear it. Will need to add a sound bar. UGH. Bought it because I need a 24in tv to fit the RV. May send it back.

I almost did not order this television because of a couple of reviews about the sound not being sufficient. This television was purchased for a replacement in the kitchen. We needed to upgrade to a smart televison to allow us to watch Youtube, Netflix and Amazon Prime. After receiving it, it was easy to set up and the sound is more than sufficient to even hear it in the living room. I have no problems with this purchase and it met all my expectations.

Great For a Little Smart TV

It's small, inexpensive, doesn't use a lot of electricity, picture and sound quality are good. I'd say it's WiFi connectivity is excellent (my experience), however webOS isn't my cup of tea. My fave all-around streamer continues to be an external Fire TV Stick.

If you want to watch Netflix/Amazon/YouTube, those apps work well. However I couldn't get Pandora to play (it said to use the internet, and then it complained about not having enough memory). There's no Apple TV app either.

I did not try the antenna connection.

I really like the optical audio out and works great with an old AV receiver - it sounds much better than using an analog stereo mini jack from another source (like an Echo device). Currently my setup is used for some background music in the backyard.

Outstanding 24" Smart TV

We purchased this TV a month ago. It had been more than ten years since we last purchased a TV and the difference is dramatic. Smart TV's are terrific--almost. But first the good parts. This model 24LM530S is by far the best in this category. It solved the audio problem of the 24LM520S with a 5W speaker rather than a 3W. The well-designed pedestal base is so much better than the 4-leg support in competitor models to enable putting it in the corner of a desk or table. So why not a 5 rating? For one thing, the picture seems more pastel and not as bright as it could be but perhaps I need to adjust the picture settings. But the real reason for rating a 4 is the discrimination by LG against Apple. As with all Smart TV's, setup is complicated. Far too many options. But LG has apparently been paid by Netflix to make sure Netflix comes up first automatically. I hope I can find a setting to change that. And I hope I can find ways to rearrange all the tabs that are available. But the discrimination against Apple comes in the LG screenshare tab that makes it easy to display the screen of any computer connected on the same WiFi. Almost any. Not Apple. Just Android and Intel devices. This is maddening. Try to screenshare an iPhone or iPad or iMac and you are required to download third party apps which are supposed to also be installed on the TV but I have yet to figure out how that can be done. Doesn't LG know the real world?

I now own a top of the line 55" LG OLED (which is amazing) and the bottom of the line. 24 inch which is pretty excellent for the bedroom. There are very few options for a 24" TV but for me this checks all the boxes. First, the picture is excellent and sharp. If you are not getting a good picture, then consider the signal. At first I was unimpressed, but then I realized that my Xfinity TV adapter box was not turning to digital channels. When I tried the digital channels - nice, sharp picture. Second, I really like the LG remote/TV interface. The remote has an AMAZON button and a NETFLIX button, as does my larger TV, and they take you right to the site for wireless streaming. If you push the HOME button, you can flip through your options of HDMI/Cable channels, Disney Plus, Hulu, Vudu, and Youtube, Google Play. Yes, you do have to be a subscriber for access to these special site, but it is easy to sign in once and your are a go. 3. Sound - It sounds like people have wide ranging experiences with this TV. Good sound for me is as important as the picture. That is why I got a sound bar for my OLED TV. I got a sound bar for this TV too. The sound bar cost more than the TV, frankly, a Bose TV Speaker. The sound is great, and it has the advantage of being able to highlight speech, so it is easy to hear in bed without turning the volume up too loud for others. The TV and remotes sit on the sound bar which make for efficient use of space if needed. 4. In response to the contradictory answers to the questions above, yes there is a USB port, as well as optical and two HDMI, there is no headphone jack and the resolution is 720p (not 1080). It is rare to find 1080 in this size TV. I am very happy with this streamlined cool purchase that cost less than a tenth of my other TV and functions just like it says and is easy on the eyes.
