Inaccurate Step Tracker

The watch as a whole is great. The only complaint that I have is that it is completely inaccurate on my steps. I have had this watch for 2 days and on both days it has registered well over 10,000 steps. My old step tracker for the same days registered half as many. I did notice that this watch tracks "steps" based on wrist movement. For example I sat on the couch and folded laundry but registered 1,200 "steps" during this time.

This product stinks. Literally and metaphorically. My package smelled like mildew and was wet. But I’m more upset at the fact that you can’t even see the amount of steps you’ve taken on your watch, you have to pull out your phone and look at you mobile app just to see how many steps you’ve taken. My touch pad is really glitchy, I’m assuming because it all got wet somehow. I’m very dissatisfied and I actually went and purchased a different brand of smart watch because this is ridiculous. You can get a watch that has the same features but also tells you the weather, let’s you customize it, tells you your active heart rate on the watch, tells you your sleep patterns on the watch, and tells you how many steps you’ve taken on the watch instead of having to pull out your phone and looking on the app. All that an more for a little extra money. So yeah. I bought a different watch because this one sucks. And I can’t even give it to my little sister because it would do nothing but give her the time, she wouldn’t even know how many steps she took because she doesn’t have a phone to set up the app. So this watch is worthless.

Overall, the watch is great and I really enjoy it.

Downside is that there are no replacement bands for this product. This band is made of TPU and the buckle is metallurgy according to the company website. If you have a contact allergy to nickel, this is NOT the watch for you. About 3 days after getting the watch, I started having a reaction. After 3 more days of not wearing the watch, I still had marks from the reaction. I bought a band for a Samsung watch, shaved down where the watch and band connect, and then used the pins from the original band.

I tried to contact the company and they said they have not made any other bands for this watch. I was told that when they do develop other bands, they would let me know. They also went as far as suggesting I return the watch.

I like the product, but it is kind of difficult to navigate on the screen and it wasn't the color I ordered, but I could work with it. I think it's a cool watch, but the features are difficult to navigate and it doesn't do calls or social media like the other smart watches.

watch band discoloration

I like the large numbers on the screen and the features like calories, heart rate, steps and the fact that it gives you a running total for the week on the watch. I do not like that I have to sync it each day to get the email and phone notifications and that the watch band discolored only having it a month. Hoping to find a band that will fit the watch and won't show discoloration.

Seems to work good, missing a few unneeded things like the BP and Oxygen level. Used for 3 and a half days and the battery is still at 71% which is really great. I did notice that if set for bike riding it dues not record steps like my old one. Will try it without turning the sport mode on.

Today I did a lot of walking at a car dealership, grocery store, Home Depot and Walmart. Besides this several hours work in the garden. Total steps recorded was under six thousand. I checked at one isle at Home Depot and it did not record a step.

Will see how it works for another day and if not better I will return it.

Bought this to see if I would like wearing a smart watch and if an Apple watch would be the next thing. I have had it for months and it works flawlessly. Sometimes have to open the app and double check my notifications are working but I have not had a single issue. The only thing I would prefer would be a round clock face, so I know I will not be getting an Apple Watch, will continue to use the HaFury for awhile when working and my regular old analog watch on weekends. Would recommend for persons wanting to get into smart watches.

An accurate heart rate and activity tracker with a long battery life at a good price

My husband was using a manual pedometer to track his activity and was recently diagnosed with atrial fib . I was searching for electronic trackers for heart rate and steps and found this product at a much more reasonable price than other trackers and with very positive reviews on Amazon. I decided to try it. I was able to set it up easily to sync with his I phone 7, and he’s been using it now for a couple weeks. He is not very skilled with technology but he can monitor his steps and heart rate with this watch. I think it does everything my fitbit does at a much more reasonable price. It also has a long battery life between charges.
