Insurance policies are neither thick nor sheer!

Sheerness? Thickness? Those are the first two qualities I was asked to rate. Honest. This is an insurance policy. And I have one major complaint: all of these policies, every single one, does not mention the name of the item on the policy. I recently purchased several things on which I put insurance. I get the policies in email but I have no idea which policy is for which product. So I have to call them and I go through mind numbing voicemail menus. Each time I call it takes about 15-20 minutes to get an answer. Come on guys! Wake up! The public is going to get sick of this!

Squaretrade would not cover my damaged item

I bought this protection for an office chair. The office chair broke within a month and SquareTrade would not cover it because it "should have a manufacturers warranty." It doesn't but square trade still won't cover it.

If you buy a few pieces of furniture and get h this warranty, here’s what’s going to happen. You’ll get a shipped notice, and then an arrived notice, so of course, you’ll go crazy trying to find what arrived. NOTHING. Finally, if you contact them, they say you get an email. When you ask for a copy of the warranty, you get a run around. When you insist you want a copy of the warranty, they’ll tell you that to help you out, they won’t send one, but you can go to their link and down load and print it. Note of this is how they treat you out of the gate, imagine if you had a claim? AWFUL COMPANY

I bought the protection plan so I could be reimbursed if the my purchase arrived damaged or became damaged within the warranty coverage period.

My item was delivered damaged, so I filed a claim to be reimbursed so I could order a new one, like Allstate’s policy promises. Their response to my claim was to refund the $6.00 I paid for the warranty.

Thankfully an amazing Amazon rep connected us with the manufacturer and an employee there worked hard to get the damaged piece replaced.

I will never purchase a protection plan or any type of protection(auto, homeowners, etc) from Allstate again.

After reading so many marginal reviews of computer desks regarding quality of materials and sturdiness on Amazon, I bought this protection plan to cover any problems for up to 5 years. Hopefully, I will not need to use this plan. Be aware that after I received a copy of the protection plan, I printed it....all 14 pages. It covers all kinds of products, not just desks. A lot of "fine print" to read as well.

I bought an office chair in jan 7th 21, 8 months later no longer useable, still under manufacture warranty, But they are no longer on amazon, I purchased Allstate 5-Year Accident Protection Plan , and damn glad i did because they stepped up and fully reimbursed me, even though they didn't have to beings chair was still under manufacture warranty. Dont Get Got buy a warranty from Allstate.
