Way healthier than the alternative!

When you have one, or a bunch of miniature humans (toddlers) running around your home; chances are you have on more than one occasion given something to the little one simply to get a moment or two of quiet. It just so happens that they tend to be happiest when they are playing with something that they aren't supposed to have, or isn't age appropriate. So, if you're like me, and your toddler(s) catch you when you're adding diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) to your truck, you probably gave them the pop tube from one of the fluid containers you haven't used yet. Come to find out, this is a bad idea for the following reasons:
1) When your wife sees the kid strolling around with that DEF pop tube in their mouth, she probably won't know that you gave them a new one right out of the plastic wrap.
1a) When you tell her that it is new, she will still be full of adrenaline as a result of the fear that comes when she sees the child with a potential hazardous substance in their mouth. The increased adrenaline will quickly transform into anger and she will tell you something like, "Don't be stupid! Now they are going to find one of those in the garage that is dirty and put it in their mouths!"
2) Your wife was right about what she said above in 1a...
Anyways, the kids love these things. Just as much as they love the ones that accompany hazardous fluid containers. For those like me reading this, your wife will also get mad at you when you teach the kid to put one end in their mouth, to hold the other end up, and to drop a Cheerio down the tube. Apparently it isn't fun for your wife to explain to company why the kids are "chugging" Cheerios like they're at a frat house...
