If I could give this items 0 stars I would. I bought an item that unfortunately would not work for my desk set up. I returned the item the next day and of course wanted to return the protection plan if I wasn't keeping the item. It has been complete frustration to return the plan. They want you to mail back through UPS a digital item......yes I'm not kidding and customer service can not figure out why that is not an easy task to do. Do yourself a favor and just buy a new one if the item breaks. THIS IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR TROUBLE!!!!

Asurion emails me to say they've taken $29.95 from me and practiced bureaucrats everywhere, they fail to cite what they took it for. A movie ticket for themselves, perhaps? They paid for their course in how to maltreat customers? Criminal like behavior? WE NEED YOU TO STATE WHAT PRODUCT YOUR SO-CALLED "PROTECTION PLAN" IS FOR.
TRY IT. It is actually easy to state the minimum. It is actually easy to treat customers like customers rather than milking cows.

None of the tech support team had experience with any type of voice recorder, had no access to a manual, and spent hours online searching for YouTube videos that could help. They will waste your time, big time looking for help themselves online. They are friendly but hapless.

I'm sure they bought some nice holiday gifts for their ASURION families with all the money they decided to keep instead of using it to put consumers minds at ease concerning their electronics purchases. Now I take my complaint up the 'ladder'. DO NOT GIVE ASURION YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. Pass it on please.

Hello I made a purchase through Amazon and one of the items was an extended warranty. I buy many things and toss warranties and paperwork into a file folder in case i ever need it. As I scan the email, the exact item I purchased the warranty for is not on the paper work. I see a purchase number from Amazon as the only identifier. In a year or so chances are I'll forget what this relates to and the paperwork will not have the name of the item on it. It seems like a basic piece of information to have on a Warranty.

Didn't even know I purchased the protection plan, and have no idea what it's for. I received an e-mail from Adurion thanking me for purchasing the plan. The only electronic I purchased was a wireless keyboard which I would never consciously choose to get a protection plan for given how cheap they are to buy new in the event it needs to be replaced. How did this happen. It didn't show in the cart when I checked out, but the e-mail came through a day later as did the charge and I checked the bank and the charge is there too.
The hassle of dealing with a plan for a keyboard versus just replacing it makes no sense, assuming that's what it's for, otherwise, I have no idea what this is for....

Purchased a vacuum on Amazon via orfeld and purchased a warranty through Asurion. The vacuum stopped working within 2 months. Amazon would not replace or return the item because the return window closed on July 17th and it was july 21st. Tried contacting orfeld. Website link was no good. Phone number was no good. No response from Amazon message relay. Called Asurion as a last resort for them to honor warranty that I paid for. They refused to do anything because I had to contact the manufacturer because it was within 24 months. I told them that I had tried contacting the manufacturer and I was getting no response. They still refused to help. I told them that I wanted them to refund the warranty if they would not honor it. They finally agreed to give me an Amazon gift card which is not acceptable and I had to buy a box to return the vacuum. The Asurion representative said this was the only option. They would not replace the vacuum nor would they refund the card I purchased it on. Very unhelpful. I asked to speak with a manager multiple times but was ignored/refused. I was not disrespectful or rude, I just wanted them to honor what I paid them for. Don’t waste your money. They won’t help you.

I've accumulated quite a lot of these digital pinky promises that Amazon peddles as necessary peace of mind-- I really do take solace in knowing Amazon will replace a defective product, no questions asked.
However, I would be remiss if I didn't point out that most people wouldn't make a purchase from a business with poor reputation, so they'd have little need to then insure their wise decision of avoidance.
What I'm saying is I prefer Amazon because they have a mostly good reputation and therefore have no valid excuse for repeatedly covering my bets.

My final word of complaint is more legitimate. I have neither enjoyed nor regretted owning this protection plan product. In fact, I simply don't think about them at all once purchased, that is until the Bezos-Bots hit me with a review request template. How can I rate a product that I've never once had the opportunity to use?
Keep up the great work, Amazon.... But you should consider firing the tech who supposedly oversees the bot/email department. It doesn't make any sense, none of it makes sense really.
