Perfect for my 18 Month Old

My daughter wanted to be held while we were in the kitchen so we needed a hands free way to let her see what we were doing. She loves this stool. She took to it right away. It is sturdy - she isn't able to push it over or knock it over while she is in it. I will say when they are just learning, watch them in it, as she has figured out a way to put her foot in the side cutout and climb up onto the counter. The floor and step are adjustable though, so that can help in that regard. Its sturdy and not to heavy to move from place to place. Very happy with the product and wish we had it sooner!

Pure Living

Finish coming off in less than 6 months.

Very low quality for the price. We have had this step stool for less than six months now and the finish is already coming off in many places. We live in a clean, climate controlled, pet free home. There is absolutely no reason for this to be happening.

Update: it’s now been 8 months and the finish is still slowly separating from the wood. Other than that, the design is sturdy and safe. After my original review, I was offered a partial refund. Great, sounds fair. However, I have now received at least 3 additional emails asking me to change my review for compensation. We are up to $45. I find this practice dishonest so I thought you should know.

Ok product; chipping finish

The product itself seems sturdy and I think it will perform well for the function we bought it for. However for the expense we paid I am disappointed with the finish on the item. The finished is bubbled and chipped in several places. I just wanted to post a warning for other buyers.

Style: Adjustable-White

Bought this on sale in October 2021 for $52.24. Certainly not worth the ~$130 they are charging as of writing this review, there are sure to be much nicer options at that price point. One of the best $50 items, though! Assembly was easy. Product is pretty sturdy. Low quality paint job, multiple runs from overapplication. As I've only had it for a few months I can't attest to the durability of the paint like some other reviews have had complaints on.

One other thing to note is that the open sides of this allow our toddler some footholds to help her climb up and out of the stand and onto the counter. Beware of agile babies!

VERY strong chemical/gasoline like smell

I want to like this, but the chemical/gas like smell is very strong and makes me concerned that my toddler would be using this. The size is good and like the feature of the chalkboard/dry erase board built. Upon unpacking item the wood is separating on one of the pieces. The quality and the smell make this a difficult item to recommend.
