This ad is false. The product is for HE washers, per tides website. You can see the HE turbo clean symbol in my picture that is removed from the product advertising, it does not have the all washers symbol. Now I have two worthless jugs of detergent that I can’t put in my washer.

New formulation!!! BEWARE!

I have used Tide Original scent since I was in college - 30 years. So they decided in April of 2019 to change this formulation and make it *Febreze scented*. (Does it have febreze in it? Who knows??) I did not know this as they did not let the public know nor did they mark the bottles they had done so. I started itching in June, and starting developing a rash soon after. Not putting it together (It cant be my tide right?) I continued to use, but was eliminating other items, like shampoos, conditioners, soaps, etc.

I was getting worse and worse. So I googled tide and found a consumer affairs complaint website detailing the change. This is also on facebook now as I am not alone.

WHY would they change a formulation without letting the public know?? I will NEVER use ANY tide product again. I am washing my entire wardrobe all while broken out in hives and scratching constantly. (It takes a while to change everything!)
So if you have sensitive skin, avoid! And even if I did not have sensitive skin, I would not use if I knew how much they do not respect their consumers and change things without disclosure.

My husband works a blue collar, labor intensive job which means his work clothes tend to stand on their own at the end of a work day. Tide has been the most reliable brand to detergent for his laundry. The hygienic clean provides a light scent that doesn’t offend his sensitive skin or nose. Love being able to rely on ordering rather than the endless out of stock at the grocery. Dirty laundry does not wait for stock refills.

Confirmed with Tide Customer support..they changed the smell as of April 2019. It smells so BAD now :( like a cheap mens cologne! Tide didnt even tell us or put it on the container! Bring back the old smell Tide!!! Gonna have to find a new brand and detergent because Tide has changed alot of there scents and not for the better!

Oh happy days. One less thing to drive 17 miles one-way in to town to get because I let myself run out of laundry detergent. These are so nice to have have on hand - - I don’t like grocery shopping in the first place, hate the long drive, the parking lot parking madness and hazardous parking lot walking. I don’t like lugging these heavy items into and out of my shopping cart back out on to the check-out thing, into my car, out of my car, in to the house etc etc etc.

Before you chalk this off to a lot of inappropriate whining, it’s being written by an 80-year old who has many more things to do that’s fun. Shopping for stuff like this is not my idea of fun. Pickle ball is fun. Zumba is fun. Buying laundry detergent et al is not fun. Not to this ole gal.

Very strong perfume. And one of the enzymes has an odor issue which leaves your laundry room and washer smelling like rotten eggs. Clothes are fine, clean and do not stink but P&G has missed mark on formulating. Not recommended for folks who don’t like too much perfume.

I'd been using Tide for decades, but after doing a load with my newest bottle of Tide, my clothes suddenly REEKED of this cheap perfume scent--like one of those cardboard hanging tree air fresheners you buy at a gas station. If you Google "Consumer Affairs Tide" you'll see that the Tide folks added this scent with zero change to the product packaging and many, many people are complaining about it. It's so strong and awful that I'm tossing this in the dumpster and switching to another brand.
