I'd say "you get what you pay for", but this sucker is almost 300$

This one is a very hard assembly job. The main problem is that the screws are made of a softer metal than the screwdriver you'll use to screw them in. The secondary problem is that they are extremely hard to screw in. That means that there's a fair chance you'll ruin the head of a screw before it's all the way in, and no back-ups were provided. I may replace some of the screws with better ones - y'know, from freaking Ikea. The wood itself feels like it's good quality, though it's unfinished, meaning that it may splinter. It's a cheaper option than other pikler triangles, but honestly, 280$ for a child's toy is not CHEAP. I expected far higher quality, or at least easier assembly, for the price.
On the plus side, tha packing quality was one of the best I've seen. Arrived without a scratch.
