Great for my goldendoodles...little pieces of bone all over the place.

Even though I have to vacuum the room after my dogs have enjoyed gnawing these bones (to get up the tiny pieces), I can't not give these five stars. They are real bones with real smoked meat, yet they are dry and don't make a mess. I'm not afraid to have them on the rugs. My two doodles (one an old guy, and one just 1.5 years) love to crunch and munch these. They haven't had any intestinal problems, even though these are getting literally injected. Poops are great, basically. The only thing is that my dogs will get half-way done and know that I have more "fresh" ones with meat on them, and they keep hoping for one of those. I suggest spacing these out, no matter how "far along" your dog is on the one he's working on, so they don't get it in their heads that a newer one is coming if they conveniently "lose" the half-gnawed one. LOL!

Massive and messy

This is really massive. An entire humerus from a large cow, and will probably last a lifetime. HOWEVER.. it seems to be the leftovers from a burned roast. I saw that there were loose bits inside the wrap, and opened it on the kitchen sink. Boy, how glad I am it was over the disposal!! It was a full blown mess!! When I thought I had removed all bits and pieces of dry meat that were coming off of it, I held it with a paper towel (I wouldn’t touch this thing!) and brought it to my dog (4 month old Standard Poodle). As soon as I laid it on the floor, a ton of pieces of that dry meat broke off again -glad it was on tile! 😱 He seemed to like it, but it is disgusting! 🥴 I let him leak it for a little bit, then got another paper towel to pick it up from the floor and wrap in a plastic bag to store in the pantry - broom, mop and cleaner in hand to get rid of the mess. …Conclusion: if you buy it, don’t open it anywhere other than over a sink! And had I known, I would have rinsed it with a lot of water before giving it to my dog!!! The puppy likes it, but it is truly disgusting, and the worse mess a treat have ever made! 😑

We have a 38# Bull Terrier mix. She is an aggressive chewer and destroys things like bully sticks and faux-hide in minutes.
We discovered these fairly recently and she loves them. They keep her engaged and they last longer than any other edible we've found, besides antlers and hooves, neither of which are her favorites, but she will chew them just often enough for us to keep them around.
I'm not sure how they did it, but these joints seem like normal hard bone, but under a thin shell they are almost crispy, with a creamy marrow center (why they recommend that you not feed these on carpet - that and the bone crumbs). She starts by carefully pulling the desiccated bits of meat off, which we make her do outdoors because at that point the bone is very messy and greasy. Once the meat is off, she loves rasping her teeth over the crispy areas and eventually, over the course of a couple of weeks, will finish the bone off completely.
Best thing we've found for her craving to chew, money to longevity, esp. the 3 pack. Unfortunately, the ants agree, so store these in something air-tight when they are waiting to be served to your buddy.

American Bully Loves these bones

My American Bully's eyes get real big when he is about to get one of these bones. Not much meat but that's to be expected. The smell must be great because my 2 yr old loves these. My dog will chew on these for a few hours for a couple days before being done with the bone. Be careful about your dog eating the ends of the bones. My dog is a super aggressive chewer and ate part of a couple of bones but most dogs wont be able to break these bones. This Kentucky based company also makes these great dried salmon treats and pork liver treats for dogs. My dog loves those treats as well. Good price on these bones compared to other brands. Would buy again and would recommend.

My two fur babies love these. I give them one each when I’m in my sewing room to keep them busy while I see. They look forward into going with me to see what kind of treat they will get, lol. I have merry blue terrier and a dingo/ dachshund mixed breed. They are 35-45lbs. These are good to keep their teeth clean while chewing on them. Much better than rawhide in my opinion. They seem to enjoy these so much better.

Our pit loves these things and now believes all mail is his. He eats them right up so the don't last long. FedEx and UPS love him and he waits, but usually USPS delivers them and she is scared of Stan. But he still gets milk bones as well from the carriers.
