There are a number of negative reviews about this TV and I have only had it a week but it was easy to set up operates like my bigger Vizio and picture quality is good. I needed this small TV for a window ledge in my bedroom next to my bed. It does have a very weak speaker setup, sound appears to come from the back but I don't want it particularly loud in the small area. This would not be a good TV when you are not quite close to it like I am but for me it is just what I needed.

Don’t Even Think About It

The TV has been caught in a loop the last 4 hours of “updating” I’ve hardwired the connection. Tried restarting. We have the fastest WiFi available. The tv will just continue to update and you’ll never make it to the Home Screen. Just get a Roku. I’m going to cry now.

I was concerned based on some of the reviews, but this is a great value so far. The picture is bright and vibrant, the apps work over wifi without the stuttering that others have experienced, and it syncs with Google Assistant so I can control it with my voice. The only downsides are sound (loud enough, but a little tinny) and Vizio updates. With the updates, it will take several iterations before it's done - mine went through 4 updates before it was finished - that took around 15 minutes. Just be patient - it's easy to think you might be stuck in a loop.

Good value and good picture quality, but the volume level is terrible. It works well on regular channels on cable, but I have to jack it way up when watching any apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc).

The Vizio smart tv comes with a wide variety of apps, including free ones, which made set-up fairly easy. However, as far as we could tell, Vizio doesn't allow you to add any apps not already preprogrammed. Like ESPN or local channels or a few of our other favorites.

Overall this is an excellent tv. I purchased 2 of them to use as computer monitors and they’re fanstastic except for the sound. It’s rather tinny and even when turned loud enough to hear, it sounds awful. Since I’m using these as computer monitors that’s not a big deal to me but if I was actually to use them as TVs then I would not be keeping them.

Overall and so far I'm satisfied with the quality of the TV itself, HOWEVER the stands at the bottom of TV don't seem to fit or screw on entirely well (if at all). The is a cheaper TV so I get it, but it was frustrating trying to screw these bastards on and ultimately after an hour I decided to buy a TV stand (before I ended up damaging the whole damn thing) which works better for my set up.
