After trying to get bulbs from GE to work and after total frustration with the App, I sent them back and ordered these. Just put all six in and had them working in 10 minutes after downloading the App and creating an account. Just using WIFI and an iphone. Can set Colors, brightness, and scheduling, and color dance to music from an iphone. They just work.

The lightbulb didn't work and would not connect to the wifi or bluetooth. It kept saying "device timed out," but never offered a resolution to the issue except "move closer to wifi and device."

The app on my phone works well with this light. The colors are as vibrant and as muted as you want them to be. The ONLY negative for me is I like BRIGHTNESS and while in white it is bright, change of color dampens the brightness. Again, that is a personal taste thing. Everything else makes this light fantastic. I will most likely purchase another.

I bought this to use in my office torchier lamp. The app and light are super easy to setup. It actually IS a WiFi light bulb. It's amazing how small they are making wifi transmitters... Anyway the bulb has dial a color, but the coolest feature for me is being able to dial the color temperature for white light from 3000 to 6000 kelvin. So I can have a nice soft yellow glow at night or hot blue white light and the brightness is separately adjusted. Simple on-off from the phone app too. It's pretty cool!

I never knew I needed anything like this till I got it and now I can’t live without it! My kids always loved being on my phone before but with these lights I barely am able to have it anymore because they’re always changing the different colors throughout the house. It was so easy to set up and makes my job as a photographer so much easier to work at home. Being able to change the intensity is awesome when I’m trying to take pictures! I had my daughters birthday party and her theme was pink princess! When the parents walked in they were in awe over seeing the pink lights throughout the entire house. By the end of the party I think every parent asked me where I got them from. I would highly recommend this product!

I finally used this light bulb yesterday and am very impressed so far with my experience. It was easy to add the app to my phone and select the light bulb in order to be able to control it. You can change colors and intensity easily and even turn it on and off without having to use the manual lamp switch.
