This lamp works really well. I bought it for my office, but I tested it at home. I like it for reading at nighttime and watching videos on my phone with the phone stand. This lamb is really flexible and easy to use so it is worth it for office or home use. When plugged in with a USB and wall outlet it shines brightly. Since it provides different colors of lights, including warm and white, it can also be used to replace some other lighting in the house. so you don't have to carry a flashlight but it still, gives you brightness for the direction.

Great light, mediocre control

After a few months the lamp, functions erratically. The power button does not respond most of the time, the color and brightness buttons work fine, the same problem occurs with the remote. Too late to return so it is headed for the trash.
