Take note! Product contains sugar, it not lemon juice powder but a sweetened product. Very disappointed and not able to return, so stuck with a product I can’t use, Lesson learned, won’t purchase from this company again.
I liked the taste, I also liked the fact that it wasn't too sweet, but more than anything else, I like the fact that it was vegan! But what I didn't like is that there were absolutely NO instructions telling me how many spoonsful I should use, whether I should use tablespoons or teaspoons, or how much liquid. There were instructions in the Mango Lassi Drink recipe, but that was it.
The mango powder was very interesting. It was very fun to use in smoothies, and in different recipes. The flavor was pretty good, but not quiet as "mango" as I would have liked. Overall though I think its a very great and versatile product.
This Mango Powder by JUDEE's gives my smoothie some sweetness. I add a tablespoon along with the other ingredients and blend well. It tastes nice. There is a recipe for a yogurt drink in the product description that I want to try: half a cup of Greek yogurt, half a cup of milk, and 2 tablespoons of mango powder. That sounds so good, but I have to get some yogurt first.
This product is on the pricy side. Also, this not 100% mango powder. Maltodextrin, a food starch, has been added. For these reasons I didn't give it five stars. But it is a delicious addition to my smoothies.
I love the taste of mango, and mango lassi is a favorite drink of mine. With a blender you can make mango lassi from frozen or fresh mango (plus yogurt and milk), but with this powder you won't need a blender, or have to wash it out afterward. It's somewhat more expensive than frozen mango, so there's that to consider. It's very tasty though, coming close to the flavor of real mango, and of course it can be used in lots of ways other than making lassi.
