Good, but does too much
Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2022
I used to have the previous version of these headphones, and they were fine. This new iteration does improve on battery life, and case design. I was originally excited that they added a way to control the volume, and even the EQ (to a limited extent) just from how you press the buttons on the headphones. It turned out to be capable of too many things. I miss the single button press to pause and play, which is now a double press that the device sometimes misses, and ends up raising the volume instead (as an example). There are more features, but too many to remember how to activate them. It’s like trying to remember the buttons to press ro do a combo in Tekken. So now I rely on my phone for dependable controls, almost never using the buttons. Good effort on Anker’s part to have this available, but needs refinement.
