They sound fairly good, you can definitely hear instrument separation far better than most budget Bluetooth headphones. Two drawbacks though. You can hear the dynamic driver do everything in its power to emphasize the bass. It might be a bit much for some. Probably the biggest disappointment though is how quiet they are. 100% volume on these is like 50-60% on other headphones. These headphones have a lot going on, but for the 15 bucks they were sold at they have an interesting sound signature. I just wish they were louder…

I usually (read never) do unboxing.. anything because I ultimately do not care that much about something I will throw away 99% of the time, but, the Haylous are well presented in a mature, sophisticated navy/ slate. Compacty, well organized, everything you need.

I did vascillate between 4 and 5 stars because it does not have AptX, and that does seem to differentiate most of the high quality mobile audio, with notable exceptions. It also drops signal at 10-12 feet. They are reasonably xcomfortable, ultimately wearable, but there are better in terms of fit/ comfort in this price range. I also have to really push the volume on my FIIO, but I can use my FIIO. Having to use a phone is a deal breaker for me.

Blue tooth 5.2 ought to get better signal, longer distance from the source, but I actually am seldom far from the source, and despite the lack of AptX, the sound is very good, clean, well balanced. There are no muddy lows or tinny highs.

In terms of profile, these are nearly flat. The bass is a little more pronounced than the high end, but it is not extra bass. I think they would satisfy all but the most ravenous bass heads. Maybe not. I like a more natural sound/ neutral profile. They also have very good depth. I don't need to take them off when Billie Holiday comes on. Really, most of what I listened to sounded excellent and I have quite a range on my player. Some would say extreme.

They have nice mids and highs and excellent low end, but without being too bass heavy.
In short, I am very impressed, especially at this price.

These earbuds sound good, currently with a discount coupon at half price they could be a good option. The battery gave me a usage time of about 16 and a half hours total. For calls they work very well.
But they suffer from connection problems. Sometimes when I change the application from the audio player to the video player for example, one of the earbuds get disconnected. Or even during phone calls I am suddenly listening for only one. (even with enough charge) Sometimes one of the earbuds makes a noise like trying to connect until I touch it.
They could also have more functions, for example, long touch to increase and decrease volume.

Bargain bin price, for bargain bin product (& NOT noise cancelling!)

Massive con off the bat; this product is NOT noise cancelling as per the title given by the seller on Amazon. There isn't even any mention about it anywhere EXCEPT the title on Amazon, which is a bit fraudulent to begin with, or at least confusing since it's not written anywhere else! This also includes the documentation pamphlet, which doesn't mention noise cancelling in any format either; audio in or out.

The sound quality is about as cheap as it gets, not at all impressive, sounds like listening through a tin can.
Can't change volume on the fly, they only have touch controls for pausing, next/previous song/answer call, which are just different number of taps.

Beyond that, I'm not going to give it 1 star, because they are otherwise functional bluetooth earbuds.
I can't comment on taking a phone call, as the primary reason for purchase was a cheap alternative to my high quality earbuds I'm too afraid to workout with.

That said, I can't recommend these for anything other than their price if you had to have something they're.... functional.

Charge via USB C, has a handful of LEDs to denote battery life (which is a nice feature), and as any Bluetooth standard device, connected without issue, instantly.

But it's cheaper to pull out the cups and a string if you want this kind of audio quality.

This is not my first set of Haylous. In fact, I decided to give these a try because I was so impressed by the first set. Haylou is a company to watch, at least, I am. They are clearly dedicated to producing a good product, the best that they can. They aren't following trends, or trying to look like the it thing. They are just making the best product that they can, and doing a good job of it.

These earbuds would be impressive at twice the price. At the twice the price they would be clearly above average, and would probably be in my personal top 10. (I have tried maybe 50 sets of earbuds the past year or so)... in search of the best. I had the Jabra 75ts when I started exploring. Oh, they are good, no doubt, but I could not wear them, too uncomfortable. It took me a year or so to find a set as good and more comfortable, and then... I tried to find one which would match my Sony xm1000s. ... I mean the headphones. I need less expensive and less vulnerable phones to wear in my glass studio, where something falling out of my ear is unacceptable, and, I used to get the headphone cable tangled in my (2000 degree) torch, also unacceptable.

Long story short I have tried *a lot* of bluetooth equipment, ear buds in particular. This year they have gotten better, and the field has become crowded and competitive (understatement) especially in the under $100 price range. HOWEVER, there are now so many in this price range that I think it can be broken down further. I mean paying $29 is not the same as spending $99. This is only the second set at around $30 which I would call good, and the Haylous are better than that. They use advanced bluetooth and audio chips which you seldom see in ear buds at twice the price, and it does make a difference. The bit rate with aptx is 4x as fast as without. I am not sure you can really do lossless without aptx. It's like the difference between 8 bit and 128 in pictures/ videos. An awful lot of the companies which use these chips call them out. Not Haylou. I think it is why I tried the first set of ear buds I got from them, and I then tried the second because I liked the first so much.

To get this kind of sound, advanced bluetooth and audio chips, aptx, for less than $30 is phenomenal. I don't know how they do it, and am glad I am not a competitor ;)

For those who got through my raving, these earbuds are very clean, no fuzz or static. They have a neutral/ flat sound profile. The high, mids, lows, all good. There is a nice sound stage, good stereo, localization in space. They have good detail and are full range, lossless audio.
They may not be audiophile, but are as close as you will get for under $50, and honestly, the sound is better than it is reasonable to expect at this price, much better.

Sound quality: 5 stars
Comfort 4 star
ease of use 5 stars.
Style: 5 stars

They are well designed and attractive. I love the sophisticated slate blue. and, while not much one for unboxing, their packaging is also very nicely designed, and does not look like an Apple clone!

The case is simple but does what it needs to, and well. It is easily pocketable. They charge fast and have good battery wear, and do not eat up your source battery.

Haylou is doing everything right. My one and only complaint is that the print on the manual could be darker.

If you are shopping in this price range, Buy these. (You will not find better). I doubt anyone would believe what you paid for them. You might not believe it yourself.

Let’s get this out of the way, these aren’t AirPods. They are about the same size and battery is pretty comparable in my use. They sound ok. In general I find in ear headphones to lack the fullness of my over the ear headphones or my studio monitors. However, they are pretty good. Call quality is excellent and I’ve been told it is better than when I’m on speakerphone. The 4 microphones do a good job. I often just use one at a time and keep the other in the case. They offer pretty good isolation. Audio quality is a bit tinny (expected), lacking the full bass and some mids. The only negative is how they will trigger a pause in the music when I put just one away or how they will sometime register a touch when I’m putting it in my ear. Those are minor things and something I can live with. I just needed to realize what to expect. I’ve gotten faster at putting them in my ear and now that second issue happens much less often. The case works well to charge says closed in my pocket. I’ve used these while in stores or out and about and they hold up well. I’m yet to go running with them as I have another pain that is designed to stay in while doing sports, but I have no reason to think these would fall out either. Overall a pretty good set and I’m happy with them.
