Love his shelf. I replaced the fabric which was very easy to do and now my daughter can easily access all her books. If you want to change out the fabric, it'll take 2 yards.

Toys Bins a GO. Book shelf a NO.

The toy bins are exactly as pictured.
Assembly was super easy and it holds a good amount of toys!
I love that my kiddo can see all of her things and choose easily.

On the other hand, the book shelf organizer wasn’t what I was expecting.
Advertisement makes it look as though they are the same size but they are completely different sizes and color..
I’ve attached some pictures to show the slight difference but it is still noticeable.
The slots are deep and make it very difficult for my two year old toddler to pick out books. And small books won’t be seen from display. I ended up putting smaller books in a small basket on the side to see what that would look like but was disappointed that I couldn’t fit all of them in the organizer.
Was kind of concerned reading other reviews saying it was not returnable but luckily it is now available to be returned.
I’d say the bins are a great buy, but maybe choose a better quality bookshelf, this one is pretty cheep quality for the price.

I bought one. It was small and arrived a little dirty, but it was just dust and dirt on the wood and I was able to wipe it off. It does nit hold very many books so I ordered another one. The wood on the second was again dirty but this time was scuffed up. It has visible marks all over the wood. I was disappointed. Before writing a review i contacted the company. They said i could submit a claim and return the item or they could send replacement parts but not for another 6 months. Very disappointing. I am just keeping it since it matches the other but i would not buy it again or recommend it as I dont think it is worth the money and the only reason I bought a second one was because the first was so small, but I am not waiting 6 months for replacement parts and am not going through the hassle of returning since it is already together. i was hoping for better customer service

Smaller than expected

This book rack is ok and will do the trick. I didn’t look at the dimensions when I ordered and was envisioning something a little bigger, but this will be ok for now. Easy to put together and holds about 25 books.

Narrow fabric shelves

The bookshelf is fine, but the shelves themselves are fabric, so the books typically are slanted forward, making the titles at the bottom hard to read. And the slat shelves are really narrow and deep, so shorter books aren’t visible. It’s decent but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking to shelve books that aren’t really tall.

This stand is for someone with just a few books. If you have more than 20 books you will need something bigger. This is definitely on the smaller side. It gets the job done for holding the books however. If screws are put in properly, then yes the stand will be sturdy. I put it together myself but you have to be careful of the way you put the white holder. I put it on upside down/ wrong the first time & now I have to unscrew everything and do it over. If you put the white holder on upside down, it will be hard to get the books inside!! Be careful that you put it right side up!

Good but bad at the same time.

It holds more books than I thought. It is the perfect size for the bedroom. The one bad thing about this product is that it tears easily and the books fall right through. I was able to repair the first tear but the second tear was not fixable. Thankfully I was able to make a all new one using canvas fabric. It now is very strong and matches the nursery decor even better.

Cons: It came chipped on a lot of places.
Smaller than it appears and medium size books get lost in the racks not serving the display purpose.
Pros: Stores a lot of books and is sturdy.

Nice idea, but too small!

My 3 yr old granddaughters were delighted with this birthday gift. Nice colors for their room. Very nice idea. But the item is actually quite small for the amount of books that small children usually have. Each pocket only holds about the thickness of 3 coloring books. So no way could we begin to fit everything in. We ended up using it JUST for coloring books and left the rest of their story books where they had been. I did put a couple ziplock bags of the pieces to a very large-piece floor-puzzle they have, and a few very thin paperback story books. I felt the pics and description of the item did not do it justice. Just know it is smaller than it appears! But hopefully the thin nylon fabric pockets will hold up for a good amount of time for the price I paid!!

The pros of this bookshelf are the stylish colors, the compact space-saving, and the style. However it’s not sturdy and I feel like it could break at any moment especially with my kids taking books out of it every day. It Hass to be propped up against a sturdy surface and even then it rocks back-and-forth

not good for small board books

This item is as pictured. I would have preferred if they used additional colors, like yellow or purple, rather than having 2 blue slots, 2 pink slots, and one green. It looks weird that way to me. I also wish at least the front pocket were for shorter books. My daughter is 18 months old, and mostly reads board books, because she is a paper-shredding machine. I have a regular bookshelf for her, but as she needs to see more of the book to be interested than the spine, I bought this holder. Yet most of her books disappear in the pockets. This won't happen with bigger books for an older child, but then having them forward facing may not be as important for an older child, either. Also, they really should include white covers for the very visible metal screws on the side. The visible screws make it look cheaply made.
