How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

5.0 out of 5 starsSave your timing researching and just buy this mouse!
Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2021
I've bought hundreds of items from Amazon and have only only written a handful of reviews. I spend hours of research on items I will be using a lot and won't settle for "good enough" because one, I hate returning items to amazon (even though they have an awesome return policy) and two, I get pissed when I make a wrong choice on an item after spending hours researching.

I have owned many mice in my life ranging from high end ultra expensive, to bargain bin throw away mice and everything in between. This mouse ranks up there as one of the best values for the money, here are my reasons why:

-No RGB unless charging (only minor glow on mouse wheel). I hate RGB on a mouse, If you NEED RGB than this mouse isn't for you.

-I have medium sized male hands and this mouse fits me perfectly, I believe if you have very large hands, it might feel small but your mileage may vary depending on how you hold your mouse.

-For a mouse under $20, it doesn't feel cheap, granted it's not ultra premium feeling but DOES feel good in my hand. I think this mouse is perfect for daily productivity use and non professional gaming.

-I like the silent clicks, I have a very loud "gaming" mouse and it's really annoying. Movement, scroll wheel is really smooth and everything synced, worked properly out of the box (I used included USB dongle).

Only Con: Uses micro USB for charging instead of USB C but I can live with that.

In conclusion: There are dozens or more mice on Amazon around this price range but I don't believe for the money, you probably won't find a better mouse that is wireless, nice looking and feels well made. In the era of overpriced mice with functionality you don't need/ will never use , I found the perfect mouse for my needs.

This review is an initial first impression, I will update if anything changes after prolonged use.

1.0 out of 5 starsDON'T BUY THIS. IT'S TOO FRAGILE. AFTER EACH FALL IT NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED (2 REPAIRS TO DATE)
Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2020
I ONLY OWNED IT FOR 1 DAY AND AFTER ONLY 2 FALLS IT STOPPED GETTING POWER.
CURIOUS AS TO WHY IT STOPPED GETTING POWER I OPENED IT UP AND DISCOVERED THE BLACK WIRE WAS DETACHED FROM THE BATTERY, I'M AN OLD ELECTRONICS BUFF SO I RECONNECTED IT USING A SOLDIERING GUN. I DROPPED IT A THIRD TIME AND NOW THE LEFT MOUSE BUTTON DOESN'T CLICK ANYMORE. IT'S ANNOYING AND TIME CONSUMING TO HAVE TO REPAIR AFTER EVERY SMALL FALL.
I HAVE CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME WITH CAUSES MY HANDS TO RELEASE WHATEVER I HAVE IN THEM WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHAT-SO-EVER!!!
AFTER THE 3rd. FALL I HAD TO REALIGN THE LEFT CHICK BUTTON BACK INTO IT'S PROPER PLACE.
IT WORKED UNTIL I DROPPED IT AGAIN.
NOW THE LEFT CLICK BUTTON SOMETIMES CLICKS AT IT'S TIP WHERE IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO IT'S CLICKING AND HALF THE TIME IT WILL ONLY CLICK IF PRESSED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BUTTON CLOSER TO THE REAR OF THE BUTTON IF YOU PRESS IT REALLY REALLY HARD.
THIS IS THE MOST BIZARRE MOUSE I'VE EVER OWNED.

LOGITECH MAKES MUCH MORE DURABLE MICE THEN THIS COMPANY.
I HAVE DROPPED MY LOGITECH ERGO TRACKBALL 100's of TIME. PICKED IT BACK UP AND STILL WORKS. THE ONLY REASON I BOUGHT THIS NEW MOUSE IS BECAUSE MY ERGO IS STARTING TO WEAR OUT AFTER MANY YEARS OF GOOD SERVICE.
I'M IN THE PROCESS OF RETURNING THIS DISASTER OF A MOUSE AND I'M GOING BACK TO LOGITECH MICE SINCE I FIRST DISCOVERED HOW GOOD THEY ARE 1N 1999
THIS MOUSE CAUGHT MY ATTENTION BECAUSE OF IT'S LOOKS.
BUT I KNOW NOW THAT LOOKS IS ALL IT HAS GOING FOR ITSELF.
AND IT ISN'T A SILENT CLICKING MOUSE AT ALL.
I CAN CLEARLY HEAR THE LEFT AND RIGHT BUTTONS MAKING CLICKING SOUNDS
CONSIDERING MY DOCTOR JUST INFORMED ME I'M GOING DEAF
AND I STILL HEARD IT CLICKING.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Mouse -- Minor Issue
Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2021
Verified Purchase
I bought this mouse to play video games after realizing how loud my old mouse and keyboard can be. Straight out of the box I tested the click volume and it was beautifully silent.

I was excited to test it out so I plugged it in and started playing. Unfortunately, almost immediately I noticed a conflicting user input combination that would make my game unplayable. Whenever you are holding the right mouse button down, the side forward mouse button (mouse5) becomes unresponsive. I can't say for sure if my mouse was defective or if it's an overlooked design flaw, but this mouse just won't cut it for me. On top of this, holding down the right mouse button while clicking the forward and backward side mouse buttons (mouse 4&5) in quick succession, will trigger the input of the middle mouse button (mouse 3).

I understand it's a somewhat unique issue to have so if you aren't frequently using the right mouse button and the side buttons simultaneously, this will be a great mouse. It felt great, and the clicking noise was virtually absent. You still get a good clicking feel out of it too, just without the noise. Due to my brief use of the mouse, I can't say much about the battery life, but the various options for pairing the mouse were very convenient.

3.0 out of 5 stars XP Bluetooth
Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2020
Color: GreyVerified Purchase
So, this device does work in BT 3.0 mode on Windows XP. However, whenever I try to pair the device with the machine, it requires a passcode from the device. This bluetooth passcode is not anywhere listed on the device, manual, website, and even emailed support who had no idea what I was talking about. So, after trying out random codes, I found that 0000 worked. So, if you get the same issue, try 3, 4, 5 or 6 zeroes as a device code when pairing.

Also, this device takes A LONG time to wake up. Depending upon how long it has not been used, it may take longer to "warm up." I would suggest manually powering off, powering it back on, and doing several left clicks and right clicks. For me, on average, takes about 3 rounds of left click-right click before it comes back to life.

-1 star for support, -1 star for product flaws. Additionally, I was under the impression that this device could be used as a wired in mouse when connect to a USB port from the computer: this does not appear to be the case. You'll be hard pressed, as a Windows XP user, to find a late technology bluetooth mouse that works for the system that can also be recharged via USB port.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not quite ergonomic
Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2020
Color: GreyVerified Purchase
I haven't used this mouse more than a couple days so I can't give you a review on its durability or anything like that. I'll tell you that I plugged it in, charged it up, connected it to bluetooth and it worked like a charm.

But.. the thing fits my hand awfully. I'm now about to purchase another mouse because it simply doesn't fit in my hand correctly. The way the "ergonomic" curves are built in the mouse make the mouse slip into or out of a good position to actually use the mouse buttons. along the side of the mouse. Also, sometimes its hard to grip the mouse and pick it up. The design makes it so it wants to fall out of your hand when you lift it.

Maybe my hands are too big or something. I won't give it a fail rating but as of now its gonna collect dust somewhere as a back up mouse while I purchase one that fits better.

Shrek Ogre
3.0 out of 5 stars Not really ergonomic despite claims
Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2022
Color: GreyVerified Purchase
This mouse is NOT ergonomic. There is a hard edge at the inside of your pinky. The winglet at your thumb makes the space cramped and impossible to avoid the Back and Forward buttons. Just navitating for this review I hit the back button unexpectedly. It is not comfortable for large hands (I wear size XL gloves).

I compared this mouse to the others on my desk. On the left is a Microsoft 5000 mouse - it is large and has smooth round edges like you expect from a true ergonomic device. The navigation buttons are out of the way so you don't touch them unexpectedly. Unfortunately its wheel stopped working. In the middle is a Technet bluetooth mouse which I've used it for years but is is small. I had to eliminate the navigation buttons with the XMouseButtonControl app. On the right is the Inphic mouse, those hard uncomfortable edges are clearly visible.

So it is with great disappointment that I send this cheap mouse back. It has good features, but its "ergonomic" design is false marketing claims.

3.0 out of 5 stars LOW DPI is OBSOLETE! :-/

Nice lightweight mouse, very quiet and comfortable, HOWEVER; the DPI capabilities are for LOW resolution only and NOT up to date to be used in today's modern 4K monitors. The 1000, 1200 and 1600 DPI are, by today's standards; OBSOLETE! :(

3.0 out of 5 stars A generic mouse that meets generic expectations
Reviewed in the United States on December 25, 2020
Color: GreyVerified Purchase
This mouse is mediocre but that was about what I expected for a $17 mouse.

First, Maximum DPI setting on this mouse does not behave like I would expect a mouse at 1600 DPI to behave. It's on screen movement speed felt about equal to a logitech g series or a razer deathadder at a 600-800 DPI setting. I wouldn't be surprised if either the DPI is overstated or it's achieved by in mouse interpolation of a smaller DPI sensor (or both). In any case if you need a 1600 DPI mouse that acts like others on the market, buy a better mouse. While I knock the weird DPI of this mouse, it still feels higher than a $5-10 wired model.

Glide of this mouse is rough, akin to other mice in the under $20 range (if you have ever used a public computer at a hotel/school/etc, that is the glide feel to this mouse)

Ergonomics of the mice is pretty good. Much better than other mice at this price point. Most people would be happy with it (though it is a bit on the light side).

For gaming, my entire use case for this mouse was for casual couch gaming (city/world building games). For those this is OK. If your going to use this mouse for competitive shooters or for competitive RTS games, spend the extra $20 and get a gaming mouse (you can get a great mouse for $40). The lack of tactile/sound feedback (left/right mouse button click is silent with little feedback) from this mouse (and the DPI issues from above) will make these games not a great experience (unless your use to using a $5 wired mice, the this may seem like a high end mouse).

Long story short, it's an OK mouse for occasional use if you go into this thinking your getting a wireless version of a $10 mouse with decent ergonomics. If you think your going to get a $100 gaming mouse experience, your in for a bad time.

Final note: don't use BT3.0 with this mouse if you can help it. Use BT5.0, the experience is way smoother.

3.0 out of 5 stars No Mouse Setup
Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2022
Color: GreyVerified Purchase
Although this mouse has two side buttons and one central top button, there is no programing to map these buttons to. Therefore, only the left and right buttons and wheel are functional. This is very sad considering I purchased this mouse because it did have the two side buttons - thinking they would function of something...Wrong!
Further, the mouse is advertised as ergonomic and from the looks of the mouse you would think that it would be but the angles are horrible wrong...you would need to have fingers growing out of the side of your hand to be able to press the main left and right buttons while griping the mouse "ergonomic" design. I'm really surprised how bad this design is. The mouse does function well in Bluetooth or wireless mode but there is the issue about the buttons and the fit in your hand. I was surprised to see that the mouse is powered by an internal not changeable battery therefore overall life may depend on the longevity of the internal battery.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not like the MX Master but ok in a pinch
Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2021

This little mouse just wasn’t for me. The sleep mode was very annoying and it’s not as big as it looks. I don’t have fat mitten hands or sausage fingers, but I do have large hands and this mouse is just too small for me. I’m 6’4 so I’m a large guy and I need a big enough mouse for my size hands and this wasn’t it. Could be that I was coming from a Logitech MX Master to this as it was an emergency and I needed a mouse ASAP. I can see this potentially being a good travel mouse; however, you need to keep the charger close as it only lasted me a max of 12hrs (I work 6hr days-so two days for me). I need something that will hold a charge for much longer than that. It’s also so lightweight and thin that I felt it would break easily though I can’t confirm how durable it actually it is. This might be good in a pinch and for the price or if you have average sized hands; but long term, spend the extra money if you can and go for something of better quality. Again, it’s hard to compete with the MX Master and if that’s what you’re used to, I would pass on this guy and cough up the extra money to get another one

Using for iPad Mini 5th gen and it’s good on it’s own. However, in use without another item, such as a keyboard, it’s pretty useless…I end up scrolling with my fingers directly on my iPad because there is a lag or it won’t make the selection when I click. I bought because I am working from home and use a Dell for work and have an iPad and apple laptop and don’t want to have to use a bunch of different mouses (mice?, lol) so I needed both a wireless and Bluetooth. So if that’s your main focus for purchasing, I would look for something better. As for as comfor, it’s slightly uncomfortable. I don’t know if this is because I have smaller hands but the thumb indent feels like long term use daily will give me a cramp. It’s an uncomfortable position to have an indent at. I will give it a couple more days of use and see how it feels, and try to post an update.
