I've got a lot cards but I can't remember losing 12GB on a 128GB card. Only usable 116 GB. When I look this up you should get 119 - 120 GB usable space.

The price is similar to other 128GB cards so you should get those missing 3-4 GB.

I have never heard of Tridenite, but I decided to take a chance on this microSD card because it's made in Taiwan. Many of the highest quality computer components in the world are made in Taiwan, including the processors used in Apple products. I ordered this memory card to add storage to one of my Android cell phones. So far the card is working perfectly. I am able to store photos and videos on the card, and the performance is fine. Based on my experience, I would recommend this card to anyone who is looking for a good quality microSD card at a great price.

This microSDXC card costs a little less than the famous name-brand ones, but you wouldn't guess that from the performance it delivers. Peak benchmark speeds are very good for a 64GB card, with read/write speeds up to 95MB/s and 40MB/s, respectively.

Even better, this card behaves well under stress testing, with sustained full-card read/write speeds of 74MB/s and 36MB/s. Cheap cards often will slow down after a few GB written, but this one remained consistent throughout the entire test.

The card comes the usual full-size SD card adapter, but like most SD cards nowadays, a storage case is not included. The 2-year warranty is shorter than what some manufacturers offer, but I'm okay with that given the card's affordable pricing.

Overall, this speedy microSDXC card would be a great choice for a phone, handheld game console, or Raspberry Pi. Recommended.

I've had no issues with this MicroSD card in terms of either write speeds or storage dependability. And I appreciate that the product comes with an SD converter as well. What I'm confused by is this being priced competitively alongside name brand products with a proven track record. Lesser-known brands are normally attempting to undercut the competition in the realm of price. But that doesn't seem to be the case here.

Has the product worked perfectly for me so far? It absolutely has. Would I recommend it to you over a name brand, when both cost the same? Of course not. But if you see it on sale, know that it functions just like you're used to with other MicroSD cards, and that the write speed is lightning fast.

Let’s face it, SD cards like this are somewhat of a commodity at this point. On occasion, a manufacturer/vendor has a slight, or even significant, improvement in technology. But mostly, the technology for SD cards is vetted, so we have our choice on paying more for assumingly a higher quality product from a known brand, or saving a few dollars on a lesser known brand….I generally choose the latter for the aforementioned reason.

I ordered this for the capacity, which is currently really adequate for most things…cell phones, dash cams, surveillance cams. I wanted (another) 128 GB SD card for my multiple devices that use them. I see that others have run bench tests and claim that this card runs a little slower, and others claim faster. Unscientifically, I’ve not generally noticed a performance deviation from my other cards either way; it just works. Though if I had, I would’ve run a bench test (No disrespect intended to those reviewers that did…you saved me time from doing so just on principle…so thank you.)

Bottom Line:

Good capacity for (current) price…it works just fine.

You Can Never Have Too Much Memory

My bottom line for this TRIDENITE 64GB microSDXC Memory Card + SD Adapter is simple; it’s good memory at a great price (even if I hadn’t gotten it free through the Vine Program, $8.00 for 64GB is a steal).

I didn’t subject it to a variety of techie performance, write speed, temperature, water immersion, EMI or other tests that those of a nerdier inclination might be interested in. But after I inserted the microSDXC card into the included SD adapter and reformated it to the NTFS file system (it comes formatted to exFAT), I popped it into my Sony DHS-W350 14MP digital camera, where it worked flawlessly to record still images and videos.

That’s good enough for me. It works, it’s cheap and I’ve got another memory card to add to my stash. I’m sure I’ll need it one of these days.

The TRIDENITE 128GB microSDXC Memory Card worked as expected in my old Samsung tablet. It has a total of 116GB of storage capacity, what is good since it is close to the manufacturer specification.

I tested the memory card read and write speeds using the USB Flash Benchmark software in two different laptops to avoid any computer interferin the results. As you can see in the attached images, the speed test results are well below than the manufacturers specification. Depending on your application, like high-end digital cameras, you will feel the speed difference, for general use it will work fine. I removed one star because of the slow memory speed.

I tend to just test new cards by putting them in my 360 camera and seeing how they do. There are a lot of scams out there so you need to test. I got results that indicate this one is a bit slower than advertised when testing in the sdcard slot of a new windows 11 laptop at 34.3MB/s average read and 77.4MB/s average read. The good news is it has the "full" capacity of 118GB so you won't magically lose files when filling the space. My real test of making sure I can record the 5.7k 360 video went flawlessly and this is something some cards have failed at so even if slower than advertised it is fast enough for me. Fast enough and full space which is what I'm looking for.

Got this to replace an older, smaller capacity card for my camcorder (Canon Pixma). Card formatted and initialized as expected. Capacity showed as 116GB, which is about 3GB lower than I expected based on other flash memory I have but within the permissible range of variance. For my speed test I recorded HD video to it from my camcorder. There were no glitches or hiccups (admittedly it was a short video of only about 2 mins), and playback on the computer showed the expected clarity and smoothness. Only time will tell how durable this card turns out to be, but it's at a good price point and comes with the adapter so it works for me.

Nice basic class 10 V30 Micro SD card. I'm using this with a GoPro Hero 9 and after formatting, it has no problems recording in 4K at high frame rates in high bitrate mode. I have several memory cards and I don't like to go over 128gb or 256gb in case a card fails on me. So far, this one has been very reliable and I've had no issues at all using it in my camera or card reader.

I didn't do a speed test but knowing it works to capture 4K on my camera without any issues is the only test I need. This should be fine for most cameras and devices, and works as well as my SanDisk cards so I have no complaints.
